Executive Administrator
Steve Aird

He has revolutionized fan support for the program in his seven seasons and has turned the Hoosiers into one of the nation’s most fun teams to watch.
Aird and his staff have made IU a destination for some of the nation’s top recruits. He signed a pair of consensus top-50 recruits in the 2025 class including the program’s highest-ever ranked recruit in outside hitter Charlotte Vinson. On top of the elite recruiting, Aird helped guide the Hoosiers to 52 wins – and 28 in the Big Ten – since the beginning of 2022.

The Norse won the 2019 Horizon League Championship and finished with an RPI in the top-50 in the nation before advancing to the NCAA Tournament to face top-25 foe Michigan.
In addition to his responsibilities as a student assistant at Xavier, Kearns broke into the club scene in the Cincinnati area working as club volleyball coach with Elevation Volleyball Club and Tri-State Elite helping multiple teams end their seasons with top-10 finishes at Nationals.
“Our goal is to extract the full potential out of every athlete in our club. There is immense satisfaction in achieving things you never thought possible for yourself, but it requires hard work and commitment. It means being willing to step out of your comfort zone, push through difficult moments, and remain dedicated to your growth. Through this process, our athletes will leave the club not only as better volleyball players but also as better individuals ready to tackle the world outside of sport.”
