TRYOUT FAQs:

Tryouts will be held at Wilkinson Hall, 1151 E 17th St Bloomington, IN 47408. Parking is free.
High School age athletes must not have started their High School season at the time of tryouts. If they have begun season at the time of tryouts, they can email info@btownvbc.com to request a private tryout before or after the conclusion of their High School season.
The athlete tryout fee is $51.25, this covers both days of tryouts. We strongly recommend athletes attend both tryout days though it is not required to be considered for a team.

We strongly recommend that you attend the tryout that is set for you specific age group. If you are unable to attend your age group's tryout, please reach out to us at info@btownvbc.com
We ask that at least one parent is present during the tryout process to attend a required, short parent informational meeting during the first 30 min of the tryout. Attendance at just one parent meeting is required.
Please wear volleyball attire, shoes, and bring a water bottle. Water refilling stations are available on site.
You will be informed of your tryout results by 11:00 on August 1st. An email will be sent to the primary contact listed on tryout registration, please make sure this email is correct.
The 2026-27 season will begin the first week of December 2026. Practice schedules will be made available before the start of the first practice.

Determine your Age Division for the 2026-27 Season:

18 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008*
17 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
16 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
15 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
14 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
13 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013
12 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2014

*Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008 (who are defined as 18 & under by the USAV Age Definition) AND are in 11th grade for the current academic year are able to be waivered to compete in 17 & under. Not all tournaments accept waivered players.
